Estonian FA offers to its own coaches the opportunity to learn from the Ekkono Method


April 6, 2021

March 2021 was the kick off for this new project together with the Estonian Football Association. The aim of this new step is to give Estonian coaches the opportunity to participate in an introductory course of Ekkono Method as part of further education.

The coaching program, lasting up to August 2021, will focus on analyzing the evolution of the training methodology across the different stages: Initiation, Specialization and high Performance.

In detail, coaches will go through the following topics:

  • Differences between training methodology in Initiation, Specialization and High-Performance stages.
  • Which are the most relevant technical and tactical concepts to train in each of these stages.
  • Examples of Basic Individual Fundamentals, Individual Fundamentals per Position and Team Fundamentals.


In order make the learning experience as good as possible, the program will combine theoretical with field sessions, as well as, assignment work.
