Successful Individual Player Performance Program carried out for Albirex Niigata first team player
January 9, 2020
During our first year of collaboration with Albirex Niigata, despite being mainly focused on tasks within the Academy, we have carried out several collaborative actions with the first team.
Among these actions is the Individual Player Performance Program (IPPP) elaborated for the striker Leonardo Nascimento Lopes de Souza "Leo".
This program consisted of an individual report for which the Ekkono Engine analyzed several matches played by Leo identifying different technical aspects to be improved. Afterwards, based on this analysis, the Methodology Department presented and explained to the Brazilian player different concepts that would help him improve his performance. On the other hand, at the end of the season he was presented with a final report to measure his improvement and understanding of the previously explained contents and concepts.
Since the presentation of the individual report until the end-of-season, Leo managed to score 20 goals in 20 matches finishing the season as top scorer in the Japanese Second Division. Moreover, his market value was increased by 1M EUR during this period according to Transfermarkt.
