Smartfielder: Implement training and video-analysis model to develop professional players (video)
March 2, 2020
Smartfielder is the pillar of the Ekkono Method which focuses on maximizing a player’s access to the professional environment, turning him into smart and expert players.
In order to do so, the following five cognitively oriented methodological elements must be worked on; they will bring us closer to achieving the objective of creating a "smart player".

Therefore, the Ekkono Method continues to focus on the creation of training contexts which, through teaching styles such as guided discovery or problem solving, require the player to be actively involved in his learning process. Recently, the talks with coaches, the sum of experiences working with professional players and the contributions of the latest research in sports sciences, have led us to include video-analysis as a key factor in our approach.
Through the use of technology, young players will be able to learn to evaluate themselves from an early age, which is one of the main characteristics of expert players.
